To support the essential needs of its customers in the fight against the Coronavirus, Uniboard’s Sayabec Particleboard and Thermally Fused Laminate facility is operating.
James Hogg, President and CEO of Uniboard stated that Uniboard’s Sayabec facility is operating at a limited capacity and under a strict sanitation protocol to fulfil essential orders. He said that Uniboard is restarting its Mt. Laurier MDF facility on April 15th to satisfy critical MDF needs. “Our facilities are operating under strict COVID-19 guidelines with reduced manpower to ensure the health and well-being of our employees, our customers, our suppliers and the communities in which we live.”
Hogg re-iterated that Uniboard sales, customer service representatives remain fully available, working from home, with their regular contact numbers and emails and are available to update Uniboard’s customers on the status of orders and other important information. He said Uniboard’s warehouses are able to ship TFL, HPL, MDF or particleboard to essential supply chains such as healthcare manufacturers or home repair centres and their value chains – as defined in the COVID19 guidelines. “We are proud to serve our partners across all critical value chains in the common fight against the coronavirus across North America.”
