Each year National Forest Week (NFW) is celebrated across Canada by many individuals and diverse governmental and non-governmental organizations. This year’s activities will take place Sept. 24-30.
During National Forest Week, Canadians are invited to learn more about Canada’s forest heritage and to raise awareness about this valuable and renewable resource.
The Canadian Institute of Forestry distributes approximately 10,000 posters and postcards each year prior to NFW celebrations. The organization offers posters and postcards free of charge. Posters can be downloaded here.
